Disease In A World Without A Leader

Hello Everyone, Welcome back to my blog!! According to Times, "Humanity needs trust and cooperation to find the pandemic." This is means all the people across the globe, need to cooperate with each other.     We need to have a global leader. During 2014 Ebola Pandemic, USA was the leader to support and coordinate a global response. But in recent years, USA has resigned from this role. The current USA administration, is not supporting international organizations.      The world is interconnected and so, everything is NOT going right.     We need to have a global leader to support the world. ~Aarushi Gupta 5th Grade June 27, 2020

COVID-19 or CCP virus?

Hello Everyone, Welcome back to my blog!! - Why the Epoch Times think it is called CCP virus. The Epoch Times think it is called CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Party, is responsible for this widespread fear and devastating the economies of nations, trying to cope with this disease. -Why CCP virus? According the Epoch Times, the CCP officials new about the virus in early December. CCP did not declare that this was going on. They sat for six weeks until local people in Wuhan knew something wrong was happening. Rumors spread in Wuhan. Because of how petrified CCP was, they arrested the people who tried to warn the danger. CCP accused people of spreading rumors. Not just that, CCP forced social media to delete any mentions that were spreading around. Social Media got scared and made the deal. - What happened when more patients died in Wuhan? In late January, there were reporters where workers all over the land of Wuhan operating patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to eyewi...

Father's Day (COVID-19)

Image
Hello Everyone, Welcome back to my blog!! Sorry, could not write yesterday. (Sometimes do that on Friday's.) :) Today, I am going to talk about Father's Day. What is Father's Day? Father's day is a day, where you get to honor your dad in a special way. Your dad has probably almost got you anything you want, they have always supported you. What to do on Father's Day during the pandemic? I recommend to give your dad you love. I am giving my dad a binder with the cover a drawing of both of our hands and a drawing on the back with me and him walking, holding each other's hand. Inside I put some written pieces and a typed cover and ending back cover. Recommendation: Go to this link: Here . That is where I learnt sketching, and drawing. I have done the two Father's day drawings. The person kind of goes fast but you may always pause the videos! See you soon!! I have put a picture of COVID-19 deaths, cases in the USA. ~Aarushi Gupta 5th Grade June 20, 2020

Immigrants

Image
Hello Everyone, Welcome back to my blog!! Today, I am going to tell you about immigrants. What are immigrants? Immigrants are people who come from different countries and come to the U.S. They "sneak" through to the U.S. for a better life. What is the Ellis Island? The Ellis Island is an Island where they check immigrants and see if they look American. They also check a lot of their reports, eyes, and more. If they need to look further into them, they detain them. Here are a few pictures of the Ellis Island: This is how the Ellis Island looks from the outside. This is how the immigrants are in Ellis Island waiting to be picked up by a ferry. This is a line and how it is in the inside. It kind of looks like a maze. ~Aarushi Gupta 5th Grade June 8, 2020

Save Local Restaurants

Hello Everyone, Welcome back to my blog!! Today, I am going to talk about saving local restaurants! Do you like McDonald's, Burger King, In & Out, or any other fast food restaurants? But... did you know these restaurants give you processed food? You might ask yourself, "What is processed food?" The answer is, "Process food is food that is not fresh and food that was cooked probably a year ago." The restaurants don't cook the whole burger a year ago, but all their vegetables, bread, and the other things they put were from one year ago or so. This is only going to make you feel sick. You will regret having their food that has withered. On the other hand, we have local restaurants. Local restaurants are restaurants that are family owned, or not so popular. These restaurants do not give you processed food. They serve you well, and also can talk yo you for a few. They show all their care for you instead of dumping the food on your table or calling out numbers...

Not just that, in America, around 1 in 15 children is exposed partner violence each year- most of them have eyewitnessed this! This is not right. Education and School CHILDREN NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL! . My thoughts about COVID-19

Hello Everyone, Welcome back to my blog!! Today, I am going to tell you my thoughts on COVID-19. Question 1. What are your thoughts on COVID-19? My thoughts are that this was a very big impact to our world! How are kids getting effected? Kids are getting effected because they were not able to go to school. Kids also are used to playing with their friends. Now, kids can't do that unless they have a social bubble with only 12 kids or under. Kids who graduated also missed their party! Kids really got effected. How are wage workers effected? Wage workers are effected because now they can't run their business! They are not getting payed. You should also answer these questions on a piece of paper!! ~Aarushi Gupta 5th Grade June 15, 2020

What can I do in COVID-19?

Image
Hello Everyone, Welcome Back to my blog! Today, I an going to explain you something very important that we need to take note of. If someone asks you, "What are doctors doing during COVID-19? The simple reply is, "They are helping patients that are getting the virus." Well that is partially correct. Here is what you should say, "Doctors are risking their lives in putting ALL their hard work to save other people during this hectic time!" This means that doctors are putting 100% hard work in helping people, and even risking their own lives! Here is a true fact: Since there are a limited supply of masks, doctors are "forced" to reuse masks! Now, I am going to tell you all about front-line workers. You might ask yourself, "What are front-line workers?" The answer is, "Front-line workers are doctors and nurses that are FIRST helping the patient." Being a front-line worker is risking your lives into saving another person. Furthermore, hea...

COVID-19 Update!

Image
Hi Everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Sorry, I could not write yesterday! Well,  you know I have got something to tell you! Consuming wild animals is a link between human beings and diseases. Eating meat then..............        getting the virus DON'T EAT MEAT!!! If you don't eat meat, there will be no shelter in place, we will be happily going to the beach or flying somewhere, and we won't have to where masks or gloves! I request this one thing from you.... is to stop eating meat. I know it is hard to break.... but still. The Good News The good news, is that scientists have got funds. When they have funds, they can research into what we should have prepared when the next virus comes. We don't want to become vulnerable again, and miss meeting our friends! Kids want to go back to school! Parents want to go back to work! There are so many things we have missed from the coronavirus! Something You Might Have Not Noticed Something, you might not have...

Coronavirus

Image
Welcome Back to my blog! Today I am going to talk about the Coronavirus. Coronavirus (AKA COVID-19) is a disease that started in China. It is a rumor that it is handmade in a lab in China, but we are not sure! Because of this, children can't go out anywhere and can't go to school! As a child, I had remote learning to keep up with education. I want to give a big thank you to Eric Yuan (Founder of ZOOM) and Google for Google Classroom, Google Meet, Google Hangout, Google Docs, and Google Slides. These softwares helped us communicate and work through home for our education! These softwares also have a free package.     COVID-19 is the reason why I am home right now typing on my computer instead of going to the beach, the mall, a summer camp, etc. It is required to weir a mask. Here are the statistics for June 9, 2020 for the U.S. Isn't that crazy! One virus made so many people tested positive, and 113K even died! I hope that everyone stays safe and that we can return to our ...

George Floyd

Welcome back to my blog! Did you hear about the George Floyd incident? If not here is what it is. A man named George Floyd was walking to get some cigarettes. He went to the shop. There was a teenager boy who was hired. He sold Floyd cigarettes for $20. The teenager noticed that the bill looked fake. He called 911. The police came. Without even saying if the teenager was right or wrong, the police officer handcuffed Floyd. He took him near the police car and put his knee on his neck for 8 minutes 46 seconds! Floyd screamed, "Please! Please! I can't breathe! Please let me go, I will do whatever you want!" The police officer did not do anything. The police officer, Derek Chauvin was not showing justice! Floyd was African American. The three other police officers who were watching and also not showing justice were: Tou Thao, J. Alexandar Kueng, and Thomas Lane. George Floyd was took to the hospital and, sadly died. Now, protestors are going around and saying, "Black Liv...
