Hello Everyone! I hope all is well! Today's post is going to be on School Starting. My school started on Wednesday! I am going to middle school, so it was a new experience for me. My science teacher, Mr. Wigand, is hilarious. On the first day, my backpack was heavier than in elementary school because we need to carry more material. Also, on the first day, I got lost, since it is very big! (In middle school, we walk to classes.)  One of my classes was HomeAc, which is so much fun! You do things like sewing, cooking, etc. In 6th grade, we learn about nutrition. Overall, my first day was really nice (but confusing!)! ~Aarushi Gupta   6th Grade

Hey Guys! I posted this in the July newspaper, but there has been a missing hiker who was hiking on the Moller Staging Area, Pleasanton a couple of weeks ago. If you live in Pleasanton, you might see signs around. Please be sure to contact (925) - 931 - 5107. There was a note about a mountain lion on Pleasanton Ridge. Howdy! Are you enjoying your summer vacation (if you are currently in it). Summer vacation can get boring, but they're ways to make it fun by... (some of these things you can't do in COVID-19 for sure). You sure should have access to do at least one of these things!  NEW: I will be having a quote under my signature for each post I do. Hello Everyone! My 5th-grade teacher introduced my class (and her past classes, of course) and an activity called nature journaling. Many of you might not do it, but it is the perfect time to start since we are in Spring! Do you enjoy any of these activities listed below? Art Nature  Writing Journaling Wondering Well, nature journaling is all of that together! Here are the supplies you will need to start! A sketchbook for your nature journal (don't get a big one- around 6 inches by 4 inches should be good!) A pencil and eraser something to color with, such as brush pens, colored pencils, crayons, etc. A place where you can journal A backpack to carry your supplies if you are going somewhere that is not in your house  Optional: magnifying glass My teacher usually follows the John Muir Laws videos.
