Make your own DIY envelope!

Hello Everyone! Have you ever wanted to make an envelope with your own printed decorations? Or you wanted a better size, or you just didn't have envelopes in stock so you just want to make one? Same here. Some people enjoy origami, while others do not really like it. I am the type of person who is not crazy with origami but likes to makes simple things, such as hearts. Today, I will be showing you a non-origami way, which I really enjoyed doing! Follow the steps on this post.

Materials needed
- Printer (If you have a black and white one, no worries, it will just turn out black)
- This tab open on your computer here (using the computer is recommended, but you may also use an iPhone, iPad, or Android!)
- Scissors
- Glue

Steps to make a non-origami, DIY envelope

1. Click on the link given in the materials section
2. Choose any design you would like to make. At the bottom of the website, you may scroll down to go to see more designs
3. Once you've chosen a design, choose the size you would like to make:

I would recommend taking a large size, but you may take any size you choose!

4. Once you have selected your envelope size, click the "Download and Print" button. (the website might sometimes be slow)

5. You will reach a document. It has your design on it.

6. Print your design out

7. Once you have print it out, follow these steps below:

First, you will have to cut around the design as shown. Then, you will have to fold in those two upper flaps, as shown in the second step in the image. Glue 3/4 of each of the flaps that you have folded. Glue on the showing side, not on the lower side. (see the image) Next, fold in that big bottom flap, and make sure it is glued to the two flaps you glued in step 3. Last, fold in the most upper flap to make it an envelope. See the image to make sure you are doing it correctly.

Now that you have made your card, you can mail something or give it to a friend! :)
